We are one of the very few private practice internal medicine offices that sees patients in the office and in the hospital.
The candidate would be required to provide care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Our office is located just minutes from beautiful Downtown Orlando.The cornerstone of medicine is ongoing and the personal patient-physician relationship is focused on integrated care.

Job Responsibilities:
Day-to-day responsibilities of evaluating, diagnosing, and treatment patients
Analyzes records, reports, test results, and/or examination information
Prescribes and administers treatment, therapy, medication, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent disease, illness, or injury
Monitors patient progress, condition, and outcomes and re-evaluates as necessary
Refers patients to specialty physicians and outside practices in conjunction with patient diagnosis
Meets with and discusses the development of new pharmaceutical products and services with various representatives
Act as admitting and/or attending physician to inpatient cases along with all functions and duties of hospitalist
Complies with and follows practice policies and guidelines
It is crucial that you are highly organized and that you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to meet the standards of documentation via EMR using the appropriate templates provided
Position Requirements:
Active Florida License
Current Board-Certification in Internal Medicine
Ability to be credentialed with insurance companies
Those who are already credentialed with AdventHealth and Orlando Health will be given preference. Otherwise, credentialing and medical staffing privileges are required prior to the start date.
Hours are Monday-Friday; split time between inpatient and outpatient patient care
One weekend per month is required for hospital rounds
