About the role

As a CBRE Project Management Operations Director, Life Sciences, you will be responsible for project management platform services for the Life Sciences sector in the Americas, to achieve the sector's strategic business objectives. Key focus areas include operational excellence, customer relationship management, talent, and growth.

The role is under the supervision of the global project management lead for the Life Sciences sector.

What you'll do

Lead the implementation and continued development of CBRE's Life Sciences client base, products and services, culture, and behaviors across accounts so that the sector exceeds the growth and financial targets of the Company through exceptional client service and exceptional people.

Lead the various enterprise offerings (PJM, Agency Project Management, Program Management, MAC, Dedicated account resources, and the Principal Contracting offering) and introduce them to existing and new clients to exceed the sector's vertical growth and financial targets.

Contribute to the strategic direction of the sector through membership of the Leadership Team

Coaching dedicated account PJM leaders to increase performance and grow business.

Act as a liaison between client account SPOC, local LMA/Project Management leadership, and client accounting to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery and ensure compliance with client requirements and CBRE Global Standards.

Coordinate with client account leaders, LMA/Project Management leadership, client representatives, and client accounting services on the process, budgeting, analysis, and reporting coordinates and controls all internal account reports, documents, and initiatives.

May act as a point of contact for clients to share feedback and develop plans to respond to feedback and improve performance at a tactical and strategic level. Develop, nurture, and maintain positive client relationships while understanding client expectations and advocating on behalf of clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

Make effective and persuasive presentations on the Life Sciences business to clients, senior management, and the industry at large.

Lead the business unit team in their establishment of client-driven project goals & objectives allowing them to continuously manage their client's expectations with their team members and other stakeholders.

Own the Operating Model for the sector, driving efficiency and effectiveness of Account operations, and alignment of the Transition teams to deliver to Divisional standards.Evaluate current standards and practices and identify improvement opportunities, working with other support and business teams to refine and implement best practices.

Act as a corporate citizen, working collaboratively with other business leaders to achieve Company targets, develop talent and succession plans, and present a joined-up approach to clients.

Act as a role model so that the CBRE culture and behaviors are embedded in the sector, leading by example.

May provide financial oversight of sector performance and commercial review of bids and proposals submitted to clients.

May assist in formulating, negotiating, and executing contracts with the client account client, utilizing the internal expert resources, i.e. legal, risk, procurement, etc.

Support new business pursuits, account renewals, and associated transitions.May lead and oversee new client transition and client termination processes for the assigned region, ensuring compliance with defined CBRE Global Operating Standards. Serve as or partner with the primary point of contact with client accounts and ensure high client satisfaction.

Other tasks and stretch assignments are at the discretion of your manager.

Exhibits a complete understanding of our corporate governance policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring corporate governance policies and procedures are adhered to within the workgroup.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management or any similar type of Bachelor's degree program or minimum five years industry experience or minimum two years' experience within Operations at CBRE, Inc.

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management or any similar type of Bachelor's degree program and minimum 10 years industry experience preferred.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Project Management Operations Director, Life Sciences position is $160,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Project Management Operations Director, Life Sciences position is $210,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
