Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

  • You will demonstrate clinical proficiency in all areas of respiratory therapy including basic knowledge of bedside assessment, proper use of equipment, and mastery with patient driven protocols.
  • You will be proficient with common respiratory disease management for adult, pediatric and neonatal patients in acute and alternate care settings.
  • You will have excellent leadership abilities.
  • You will demonstrate team work, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program required. Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Care preferred.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the state of Texas is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory and/or lead experience in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Current BLS Certification is required.
  • ACLS, PALS, and NRP are preferred.
