ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will identify opportunities for innovation and leverage advanced AI/ML techniques as a Senior Data Scientist for an Intelligence Community (IC) client providing thought leadership with current and future efforts. Key responsibilities include:
Identify opportunities for AI/ML integration to enhance intelligence analysis and workflows. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and identify potential AI/ML solutions. Design and implement scalable AI/ML models for tasks such as information retrieval, natural language processing, predictive analytics, and automation.Source and process large datasets from diverse sources.Deploy AI/ML models into production environments and integrate with existing systems.Monitor model performance and retrain models as needed.Research and explore new AI/ML methodologies.Work closely with intelligence analysts and other cross-functional teams to source requirements and implement AI/ML solutions effectively.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, with a focus on AI/ML.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.Proven track record of developing and deploying AI/ML models in a professional setting.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex issues.Strong ability to analyze and interpret large datasets.Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Experience in the intelligence or defense sector is highly desirable.TS/SCI with polygraph is required. #LI-SH1LMI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
