Job SummaryAs an Occupational Therapist, you will focus on the patient's overall well-being by improving their ability to perform activities of daily living. You will assist individuals in regaining their skills and abilities and decreasing their limitations or disabilities.
- You will plan therapeutic care based on clinical assessment.
- You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of occupational therapeutic care of an assigned group of patients, in coordination with the physician and the patient care team.
- Provide customized treatment plans to improve patients ability to perform daily life activities and reach their goals.
- You will complete patient assessments, and participate in developing and implementing individualized care plans, focusing on goal achievement, patient engagement, and positive patient experience.
- You will record and report on patient's response to treatment, as well as tracking progress toward identified goals.
- Integrate occupational therapy treatments with other aspects of patient care.
What qualifications you will need:
- Master's Degree Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy.
- Licensed or license eligible as an Occupational Therapist.
- Registered with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Experience as an Occupational Therapist in an inpatient setting preferred.
