Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs and are looking for a team member who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.   • You will provide nursing care for a wide spectrum of illnesses and injuries including lifesaving procedures in all types of emergency and trauma situations to chronic medical problems, minor illnesses and injuries
  • You will maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the Emergency/Trauma clinical setting
  • You will participate in organizational and unit-based quality improvement activities. Completes required competencies within the defined time frames
  • You will maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team
  • You will support the mission, philosophy and goals of the HCA Hospital
What qualifications you will need:
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
  • Current Nevada Registered Nurse (R.N.) license
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • CPI must be obtained within 90 days from date of hire/transfer
  • ENPC must be obtained within 9 months of Hire/Transfer
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in an emergency department of an acute care
  • facility preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year critical care experience and/or the successful completion of a recognized critical care course or Orientation to Emergency Nursing Course
