Job Summary
Provides hardware and software support for staff and students in a school. Responsible for in school repair of devices along with trouble shooting classroom technology applications as needed. Attendance, physical presence, and timeliness are required and are essential functions of this position.

Essential FunctionsTroubleshoot and repair devises on premise. This includes PCs, MAC, Chromebooks, various laptops, printers, and copiers.Work with staff at the school to troubleshoot classroom technology such as smartboards, and other classroom audio/visual equipment.Provide basic network troubleshooting in the school.Install, provision and update software on devices using the desktop management platforms in use by the district.Proved basic support for staff and student computer accounts.Give guidance on basic application installation and troubleshooting for all district supported applications.Manage and reset Access Points in the school as needed.Work with Network Engineers in supporting the school network infrastructure.Support IP and USP based phones.Non-Essential FunctionsOther duties as assigned*Required Education and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Required Certifications A+ Certification or willing to obtain within six monthsMicrosoft 365 Certification: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or willing to obtain within 12 months Preferred Certifications G Suite CertificationMicrosoft Innovative Educator (MIE)Required Prior ExperienceMinimum of 3 years hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.Required Knowledge and SkillsRepair of computers, standard printers, and multi-function printers and/or copiers.Ability to manage Active Directory accounts.Excellent communication and public relations skills.Knowledgeable in the use of the following applications: G Suite/GoogleOffice 365 Applications and AdministrationIvantiLanSchoolCanvasDiscoveryGradebookBlackboardOptiview -filebound and attached scannersCurriculum applications used by the districtOther software in use by the district and schoolAssigned Decision Making
