The Supervisory Training Specialist performs the following major duties:

Supervises a group of employees performing work at various levels. Provides administrative and technical supervision necessary for accomplishing the work of the unit.
Performs the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised.

Manages selection, training, mentoring and evaluation of over 50 Staging Facilitators and Coordinators pulling from staff across the agency to fill these roles.

Identifies functional, financial, and organizational improvements needed to enhance operational efficiency and mission accomplishment of SPD program.
Oversees staging staff in fulfilling liaison activities with all offices involved in the delivery of Peace Corps Volunteers.
Provides technical, and policy support and guidance to stakeholders engaging in the staging environment.
Serves as expert in training services planning and development. Plans, develops, and evaluates experimental or pilot programs.

Develops, reviews, and revises components of training design and course information to include sequencing of learning events and objectives.

Designs and implements a data gathering system to analyze post feedback on effectiveness of staging programs.
