The BAE Systems site in Anniston, Alabama, is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer. In this role as a Senior Quality Engineer, you will develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols in a fast paced, heavy manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for ensuring requirements are met throughout the assembly and final operations processes across multiple vehicle platforms primarily supporting the M88 assembly/test process.

#IJSRequired Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree in an Engineering or technical discipline with at least four (4) years of related experience, or the overall equivalent;
  • Requires a solid understanding of Quality Assurance / Quality Control fundamentals and principles;
  • Experience operating within ISO 9001 standards;
  • Strong background in problem solving techniques and analysis (A3, DMAIC, etc);
  • Proficiency in standard and industry related software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database applications;
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficient at reading blueprints.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • ASQ certification;
  • Experience working in a quality program in support of government contracts, preferably DoD;
  • Formal training in root cause analysis;
  • Experience implementing APQP in a low-rate, technically complex product environment;
  • Experience with TipQA software;
  • Automotive industry experience.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $128340

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
