Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital (MASH) is a 24-hour emergency and specialty animal hospital located in the heart of Hollywood, California. MASH is proud to offer a superior quality of veterinary Surgery, Internal Medicine, Emergency and Critical Care, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Dentistry, Neurology, Acupuncture, and Nutrition, along with an experienced and compassionate Customer Service Team.

In our quest for continual improvement, we are seeking a Veterinary Technician Specialist who shares our dedication to advancing patient care through innovation and expertise. At MASH, we recognize and value the expertise and dedication of our team members.
The base hourly range for this full-time position is $38 - $50 per hour.
Responsibilities
  • Mastery of advanced nursing skills related to your specialty department..
  • Support veterinarians to ensure exceptional veterinary care, advocate for patients, and educate clients.
  • Understanding the patient's condition and treatment and your role in nursing management.
  • Advanced skill in emergency action directed toward assessing, treating, and stabilizing a patient with an urgent medical problem.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in treating patients with life-threatening or potentially life-threatening illnesses or injuries.
  • Deliver exceptional, compassionate nursing care to patients utilizing various technical skills.
  • Embrace the role of mentorship, offering guidance and support to fellow team members.
  • Pursue continuous professional development, staying abreast of the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and incorporating them into your practice.
