As the Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Debt Collection Services, you will serve as one of the executives responsible for providing leadership, direction, and guidance, in the management and expansion of debt management services as required by the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996.
As the Deputy Assistant Commissioner Debt Collection Services, you will:
Provide executive leadership, direction, and oversight to the various programs and initiatives related to the collection and resolution of delinquent debt owed to government agencies.
Negotiates agreements with paying and creditor agencies of the Federal Government to offset payments to collect delinquent debts.
Has oversight responsibility for the receipt and deposit of collections, ensuring that the work is accomplished within prescribed regulations and guidelines.
Plans and directs the activities of a high-volume, complex operations center comprised of a large number of employees, in a telecommunications-oriented environment.
Establishes and monitors management and business metrics to measure initiative success and enable improvement in core debt management program functions.
