Tucson, Arizona, United States Social Venture Partners Tucson Full time

Social
Venture Partners Tucson (SVP) is
an ever-expanding community of engaged philanthropists dedicated to
building nonprofits' capacity, strength, and impact in addressing
social problems. We make Southern Arizona a more
equitable place to live by investing in high-potential nonprofits
working in the areas of early childhood education, workforce
development, racial and gender justice, and those serving
historically marginalized communities. We bridge the gap between
philanthropists and nonprofits through grant-making and
capacity-building relationships, using a 2Gen
approach to create generational change in our
community.

SVP Tucson is in a period of rapid transformation and growth.
Currently, we have:

an operating budget of $1,800,000
a staff of 8 FTE
150 Investor Partners
a portfolio of 16 current and 92 alumni Nonprofit Partners

SVP Tucson is one of 30+ SVP affiliates bringing a unique model
of engaged philanthropy to communities all over the world. Through
our unique membership model, individuals and corporations make an
annual philanthropic investment in SVP Tucson and have the
opportunity to engage directly through strategically designed
projects that include capacity building, professional coaching, and
community convening.
The Opportunity
Tucson, Arizona is a haven for those who value outdoor activity
and cultural richness. The city offers an exceptional lifestyle
with over 300 days of sunshine a year, scenic hiking trails, and a
robust culinary scene. Tucson's relaxed pace and friendly community
make it an appealing home for an individual, couple, or family.
While Tucson offers a great lifestyle, not everyone can access
it. Many in our community, especially
female-headed households with young children, face high poverty
rates—around 20% overall and 34.6% for this demographic. This
highlights why SVP Tucson is crucial, as we work to enhance
nonprofit capacity and collaboration to uplift families
economically, socially, and mentally.
SVP Tucson is on an exciting trajectory of impact and we are
