Description:

Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with physicians and office staff. Develops, manages and supports relationships between physicians, their staff and the organization. Coordinates and disseminates information about the organization to include providing information regarding new programs and services. Identifies new business opportunities with physicians.

Additional Qualifications:


Bachelors degree in business administration, healthcare administration, marketing or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience ; Experience can substitute for degree requirement.

Minimum 3 years of customer service, patient relations or other relevant experience.

Must have excellent interpersonal skills ; ability to maintain productive work relationships with various providers, departments, and professionals at all levels.

Outstanding oral and written communication skills. Good problem solver with excellent analytical skills. Ability to work well independently, handle multiple projects and assignments and follow through to completion. Ability to follow protocols and use common sense to escalate situations to management appropriately.

Willingness to handle other duties as assigned with the occasional need to work early mornings and evenings and travel between various locations, as needed.

Demonstrated organizational skills with ability to multi-task and follow up. Knowledge of healthcare terminology, medical billing, reimbursement payment structures, and Medicare terminology a plus. Able to work with web-based systems ; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
