\t\tThe primary role of the plant operator is to assist in producing aquaculture feed products and in quality control, maintenance, and facility cleanliness in daily activities. The roles of the Plant Operator vary based on experience and expertise. This role may include operating equipment such as an extruder, grinder, mixer, pellet machine, or working in the warehouse. These roles also include packaging, filling, assisting in the formulation, or housekeeping. Candidates are well-driven self-starters who can work with a close-knit team to meet customers' demands efficiently.\r

\t\t\tMust be at least 18 years of age\r

\t\t\tHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required\r

\t\t\tWillingness to operate material handling equipment, including forklift and other equipment, as required\r

\t\t\tMust be able to lift to 50 lbs\r
\t\t\r
\t\t\tManual dexterity requires being on your feet for long periods and working in a production environment.\r

\t\t\tAbility to follow written and verbal directions and complete the necessary documentation. Ability to read and write English is required.\r

Key Deliverables Include:

\t\t\tWork production line according to production scheduled production job\r

\t\t\tInspect all materials for cleanliness and integrity. Report any issues before processing\r
\t\t\r
\t\t\tDocumentation as required in all aspects of job duties\r
\t\t\r
\t\t\tLearn and train all the roles needed at the plant (mixing, bagging, forklift, container loading, etc.)\r
\t\t\r
\t\t\tOperate processing equipment as outlined in SOP's\r
\t\t\r
\t\t\tMaintain facility cleanliness throughout all operations\r
\t\t\r
\t\t\tPerform Quality Control while handling products\r
\t\t\r
\t\t\tAccurately document tasks performed (processing, maintenance, cleaning, etc.)\r
\t\t\r
\t\t\tResponsible for reporting safety/food safety problems to management, up to and including stopping a production line\r
\t\t\r
\t\t\tMaintain all current training.\r
\t\t\r
\t\t\tComply with all Food Safety Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, FDA and OSHA guidelines, and Federal and State workplace laws.\r

\t\tCompensation and Benefits:

\t\t\tIn compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $ $20.26/hr. Wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for many benefits, such as vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k). \r
