What you'll do

1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and prioritize the requirements for the software asset management system.

2. Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

3. Facilitate communication and collaboration between different teams, including developers, testers, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment and successful delivery of the software asset management system.

4. Act as a subject matter expert on software asset management and related technologies, providing guidance and insights to the development teams and stakeholders.

5. Monitor and analyze the performance and usage of the software asset management system, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

6. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to software asset management, and incorporate them into the product strategy and roadmap.

7. Be onsite for at least three days a week.

What you bring

1. A bachelor's or master's degree in Business Informatics / Business Administration/ Computer Science / Informatics/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Engineering or an equivalent qualification with preferably 8+ years of experience.

2. Proven experience as a product owner or product manager in software development, preferably in the area of software asset management.

3. Analytical mindset, with the ability to gather and analyze data to inform product decisions and improvements.

4. Experience in driving results in a complex, matrixed organization while maintaining collaborative partnerships.

5. You bring a can-do mentality with the ability to make decisions and drive projects forward, even with imperfect information. You see ambiguity as a place of great opportunity but are also adept at bringing structure to that uncertainty and driving decision-making.

6. You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present convincingly to engineering teams, other product teams, and senior management.

7. Fluency both written and spoken in English.

Preferred Skill

• Knowledge of SCRUM and Agile.

• Experience in leading teams and developing talents.

• Strong understanding of software asset management concepts, practices, and tools.

• Good knowledge of server and virtualization technologies.
