Job Responsibilities

As a Shift Med registered nurse, you'll be responsible for but not limited to:

Ongoing patient assessment and observation to ensure optimum health levels.

Administering and recording medications per facility policy and procedures.

Transcribing and implementing written, verbal, and electronic physician orders.

  • Hourly pay rates may differ based on the location of Shift Med healthcare facility partners. All advertised rates reflect the wages Shift Med partner facilities are currently offering. Hourly rates fluctuate throughout the week depending on the facility you schedule shifts with.
  • Shift Med adheres to CMS and local Department of Health guidance on COVID-19 vaccinations. Healthcare professionals must be up to date on all recommended COVID-19 vaccinations, including a booster dose when required. Healthcare professionals not up to date on COVID-19 vaccination doses may be required to undergo weekly testing and comply with mask mandates at Shift Med client facilities. Vaccinated workers may still be subject to regular COVID-19 symptom screenings, including temperature and symptom checks.
