Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Bridge Design – CADD Specialist to enhance the capabilities of our Albuquerque, New Mexico office.

Position Description:

  • Performs both routine and non-routine, complex drafting assignments that require judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations.
  • Uses applications to scale and edit assignments involving the use of computer aided design and drafting equipment and other graphics software (e.g. CADD software) to achieve set results and deadlines.
  • Digitize or trace sketches or concepts from designers using CADD software, such as Civil 3D or MicroStation.
  • Follows specific, standardized procedures to achieve set results and deadlines.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • BA/BS + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Valid Driver's license required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise using CAD software. (MicroStation, AutoCAD)
  • NMDOT structural detailing experience

  • Offered rate of compensation (New Mexico locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary rate range for this position is $61,000.00 to $106,000.00 per annum.
