Job Title: eBusiness Strategy Manager – Tea Division

Job Type: Fulltime

Your Role

The eBusiness Strategy Manager is responsible for developing and executing against eCommerce business goals for the Tea Division, with the main objective to drive profitable and sustainable growth. The eBusiness Strategy Manager provides the strategy and insights that enable field teams across eCommerce channels to deliver our ambition and works closely with Brand and Marketing teams to create demand, as well as Supply Chain and Finance to ensure new product creation is feasible.

Who we are looking for:

Integrated Business Planning

  • Build strong plans that deliver on business unit goals (top and bottom line) across the eCommerce channel
  • Closely monitor granularity of growth and profitability performance, in partnership with the brand & marketing team, global digital team, media partners and Finance
  • Establish Rates & Targets for key eCommerce customers based on understanding of each of their business drivers
  • Lead Execution for Design for eCommerce innovation initiatives across US, Canada, and Food Service customers
  • Actively support field teams on customer presentations (including decks and sample needs), and go the extra mile to ensure our brands are strongly represented in line reviews, JBPs, etc.
  • Prioritize products, merchandising, and customer education initiatives which advance our impact goals in sustainable agriculture and responsible packaging
  • Manage a small team to maximize investment on a daily basis across top Pure Play, Omni, OPD customers

Performance Marketing

  • Collaborate with brand marketing teams (both local and global) to define creative appropriate for ecommerce and performance funnel
  • Collaborate with brand marketing teams, media agencies/on-site ad platforms, and Unilever eCommerce to deploy investment to maximize growth

Virtual Store Execution

  • Actively examine and identify opportunity for flawless eCommerce presence and execution (7OA, A+ content, robust product description, current images and communications, ratings and reviews, etc.)

Sales & Operating Planning

  • Financial shape: work with S&OP Manager on financial forecast and closely monitors total unit delivery against targets (down to Profit Before Overheads)
  • Work with Finance to have the right visibility and understanding of the eCommerce business to enable gross margin enhancement
  • Inputs: provide key input into the forecasting process by watching field plans and building in marketing, competitive and funding drivers

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Operational knowledge of eCommerce and digital media channels
  • Excellent analytical, communication and relationship building skills, strong attention to detail, ability to coordinate across various functions and ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, high sense of project ownership and proactivity
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required
