RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in need of a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) in Westlake, TX.Responsibilities:
  • SDET will design, develop, document, and maintain automated tests and in-house software utilities
  • Adhere to established software engineering best practices and standards
  • Suggest improvements for processes, best practices, and standards
  • Design and develop automated tests and/or software tools
  • Understand and refine requirements
  • See opportunities to improve maintainability of test automation platform
  • Understand and apply test driven design concepts to test and debug automated solutions and software utilities developed by self and others
  • As a SDET, you will deliver accurate and maintainable code for test automation and software utilities
  • Build CI/ CD pipelines using groovy scripts to handle execution of test suits
  • Responsible for Stakeholder Management including communicating to senior leaders in the domain area

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS/BA or equivalent education or experience
  • 10+ years of relevant hands-on SDET work experience with a specific focus on automation frameworks and automation testing
  • Proven experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Hands on experience with crafting and maintaining node-based test suites that utilizes frameworks
  • Must be proficient in coding in TypeScript, JavaScript on Node stack
  • Expertise in web services testing and proven experience with Rest Assured/Karate
  • Advanced Experience with Git + GitHub, CI/CD orchestration tooling, Artifact Management
  • Detailed understanding of build process for Java,
  • Good understanding of Docker containerization/containerization of test execution
  • Hands-on experience driving innovation process from end-to-end
  • Highly collaborative individual with ability to influence others and build strong partner relationships internally, as well as externally

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
