The SAP Global Security (SGS) group seeks a high-energy, motivated individual who combines solid technical credentials with a high degree of business acumen for the position of Cyber Security Design Sr Specialist.

In this role you will work on the transformation of our internal Security Ticketing ecosystem. You will develop solutions that will enable capabilities of tasks for the Global Security Organization. You will be responsible for delivering a solution that is easily consumable by internal security teams, as well as, across the company globally. You will also be responsible for leading the implementation and instilling modern software engineering and deployment techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and execution of strategy for tooling with GSO (ServiceNow)
  • Defining roadmap and product capabilities to fill gaps and build tool adoption
  • Liaison between development team and stakeholders for engineering and end user enablement
  • Translate product features into well-defined requirements in appropriate Epic -> Feature -> User Story format
  • Continuous refinement and management of work across stakeholders and leadership

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years' experience in Product Ownership/Project Management
  • Experience with Project Management Platforms (e.g. Jira, Rally)
  • Experience with Agile / SCRUM development methodologies
  • Working familiarity with ServiceNow (Security Operations Module & SIR Ticketing)
  • Experience with development teams and project requirements
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Good personal communication skills are vital

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with Product Ownership/Project Management
  • Experience working in an Agile software development teams
  • Ability to work independently where needed, and ability to take direction where needed
