As a Child Care Lead Teacher or Kindergarten Prep Teacher, you will:

  • Guide a teaching team to develop classroom plans, goals, and lead hands-on activities based on your observations of the children's interests and needs.
  • Communicate daily with parents. Document and share the important milestones in their child's day.
  • Keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines.
  • Preferred Schedule - 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with 30 Minute Lunch
Requirements:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
  • Twelve semester units in Child Development, including the core courses of Growth & Development, Child, Family & Community, and Curriculum (Required)
  • BA/MA in Early Childhood Education Required
  • Transcripts will be required at time of hire
  • At least five years of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) required
  • TA add center / market specific requirements & edit above as necessary

Compensation Range: $ $26.75 / hr
