Red Bank Catholic (RBC) is a top-rated private, Catholic college preparatory high school (9-12), located in Red Bank New Jersey.
The school's history spans over a 130 years educating men and women in Monmouth, Ocean and Middlesex Counties. Currently the school has over 700 students enrolled in a thriving, debt-free institution. Reporting to the Pastor of St. James Parish and the School President, the Principal will be the educational leader. In this role, he/she will oversee all academic programs, guidance and college counseling, faculty performance and professional development, extracurricular activities, and athletics.
The Principal also serves as a key member of the school's Leadership Team, collaborating
with the Vice President of Finance and Operations and the Director of Advancement, as well as, the St. James Parish leadership team, the Diocese of Trenton and the Red Bank Catholic Foundation. The Principal of Red Bank Catholic will manage a thriving school of 700 plus students from over 60 communities with 90 faculty, staff and administrators. In this role he/she will build upon RBC's long storied history and tradition of creating innovative and enriching educational opportunities for young people. As a forward-thinking academic leader, the principal will continue to empower students to put their faith into action in an ever-changing and challenging world. The Principal will ensure the expansive, innovative RBC education will continue to prepare graduates to be equipped with the skills to adapt and adjust to trends in the ever-changing world. As a proven educator with significant classroom experience, the Principal must have excellent management, delegation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Additionally, the Principal must be externally facing engaging parents, stakeholders, donors and Alumni, while upholding the values and mission of Red Bank Catholic and of St. James Parish.
A successful candidate will include the following:
-A practicing Catholic with an understanding of the role of a Catholic school in the life and future of the church.
-A bold leader with knowledge and vision to enhance RBC's 21st century learning models.
-An understanding and ability to perform duties in the school's President/Principal leadership model.
-Experience as a collaborative leader working with faculty and staff at all levels including implementing tools and professional growth opportunities.
-Work in partnership with the Vice President of Finance and Operations on the budget, facility needs and special projects.
-Work collaboratively with the Director of Advancement to nurture connections and build community with alumni and parents.
-Continue to build on the tradition of service and faith as part of our charism, both from the Sisters of Mercy and Pastors and priests who serve the RBC community.
-Commitment to the mission of the Catholic Church, Red Bank Catholic and St. James Parish.
Salary: Negotiable commensurate with experience
