About the job

SUMMARY

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates IT business systems and business requirements. Writes detailed description of requirements, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Tests and coordinates testing of changed computer programs. Coordinates implementation of new functionality. Provides secondary support for business software.

Your tasks

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Consults with users and gathers, analyzes and prioritizes their problems and requirements.

• Consults with managerial and systems analysis personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine extent of programming and coding required.

• Analyze requests and develop system requirements from workflow charts or diagrams to support business processes.

• Manages system requirements including prioritization and coordination with representatives from other business units.

• Ability to collect, analyze and recognize trends in datasets. Ability to create PowerBI dashboards.

• Compiles documentation of program development and subsequent revisions.

• Coordinates version control and Release Notice communications with users.

• Reliable attendance a must.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Computers Skills: Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. Experience supporting, implementing, testing and managing modifications to business software. Experience with Project Management software and Halo is a plus.

High Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

High Math Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

High Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field. Master's preferred.

• Minimum two years' prior related work experience and/or training.

• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Does not supervise staff.
