Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of elective outpatient surgeries in the Dawsonville market, focusing on bread and butter general surgery procedures
- Collaborate with a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver comprehensive patient care, including rounding and clinic visits
- Demonstrate proficiency in endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures
- Function effectively as part of a care delivery team, utilizing resources efficiently to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to support the growth and development of the surgical team
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified in General Surgery
- Demonstrated interest and proficiency in endoscopy and colonoscopy
- Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Georgia
- Excellent clinical skills and a team-oriented mindset
- At least 3 years of surgical experience required
