Job Description:

The candidate will be supporting The Ohio Department of Transportation s (ODOT) Asset Management Team.

This position will function as a skilled PS2 within the Department of Information Technology responsible for tracking, updating, and movement of Information Technology desktop and network assets.

Specific responsibilities:

Updating meta-data required for asset management.

Add newly acquired assets to the system.

Reassignment of assets, based on ServiceNow incident tickets.

Coordinated and organizing disposal of ODOT s computer and networking outdated equipment.

Maintaining organization of working area.

Append asset tags to newly acquired equipment.

Reporting from the asset management system to aid in biennium reconciliation

Mobile AV support

Unpackaging and movement of equipment.

Follow quality standards.

Analytical and customer service skills.

Communicate accurate and useful status updates.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Complete assigned tasks.

Strong communication skills; both written and spoken

Years of Relevant Experience: 3 - 4 years

Preferred Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
