Has anyone ever called you an insights ninja or a data whisperer? Would you like them to? We're looking for a motivated and data-driven HR Data & Analytics Manager to join our dynamic HR Enablement team and help us reimagine how we leverage "people data" across Land O'Lakes.

You'll be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive HR data and analytics strategy, driving data-driven decision-making across the organization, and partnering with stakeholders to translate data into insights and actionable solutions. You'll also lead a team of new and experienced data analysts, providing them with strategic oversight and support.

This role is located at our corporate headquarters in Arden Hills, MN (Hybrid work arrangement each week).

Key Responsibilities:

Analytics Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HR data strategy and roadmap aligned with our overall organizational goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts
  • Utilize advanced analytics and predictive modeling to forecast HR trends, supporting strategic workforce planning and other key strategic initiatives.
  • Continuously enhance reporting processes, focusing on providing more intuitive and actionable information.
  • Design and build dashboards and reports to visualize key HR metrics and trends related to talent acquisition, employee engagement, retention, and performance.

Collaboration with Stakeholders

  • Communicate data insights and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
  • Collaborate with HR teams across all functions to define data needs, implement data collection processes, and ensure data quality.
  • Balance accessibility and confidentiality in providing data to relevant stakeholders.

Comprehensive Data Governance, Privacy, Security, and Quality

  • Uphold and champion a robust framework for data governance, encompassing data privacy, security, and quality measures.
  • Partner with Land O'Lakes data privacy and security teams to ensure compliance with data protection regulations, implement data security protocols, and maintain the highest standards of data quality throughout all data processes.
  • Develop comprehensive reports to meet compliance needs and provide accurate views of people data, including HR processes and outcomes, adhering to high data quality standards.

Technology Integration and Innovation

  • Stay up to date on the latest HR analytics trends and technologies, and recommend innovative solutions for leveraging data to improve HR effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR Technology teams to seamlessly integrate data sources, emphasizing data quality.

Required Experience/Knowledge/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in HR analytics or a related field, with a proven track record of success in driving data-driven insights
  • Proficiency in data visualization and data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., PowerBI, Workday, SQL, Python, R, Tableau)
  • Data privacy and security knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • 1+ year of experience in Workday

Travel: 10% or less
