Description:Entry Level position to learn Contract Management skills for Defense Contracts. Will learn fundamental concepts of contract administration within the regulatory requirements of FAR and DFARs based Contracts with the U.S. Government to negotiate, administers, extend, terminates and renegotiate standard and nonstandard contracts.
Evaluates contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.
Maintains communications to ensure timely contract execution by the parties.
Ensures final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.
May plan and participate in training of contract practices.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a Finance, Business Administration or a discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.

Desired Skills:

Highly motivated, fast learner and experience in interfacing with customers in some capacity, desired.
Strong communication, interpersonal & organizational skills - Works effectively in team environments;

Demonstrated leadership ability for application in
building and strengthening relationships with internal
and external customers.

Desire to work independently and accept increased responsibility for work product as you develop.

Strong business acumen for use in negotiating business deals with domestic and international customer sets.

Ability to come into the office at least 2 days a week.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.

CWEP or LM Internship in F&BO preferred but not required.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Remote Telework:

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
