  • You will coordinate and oversee of long lead equipment procurement & supply chain process.
  • You will establish and participate on value engineering and constructability review sessions.
  • You will coordinate permitting plan updates and track progress2E.
  • You will participate and provide inputs to trades/subs bidding & selection process.
  • You will lead weekly owner/architect/contractor (OAC) meetings.
  • You will Immediately escalate issues that may have an impact on the completion date to client.
  • You will oversee of general contractor and other directly contracted vendors at site.
  • You will drive governance over change management process - track changes, review and negotiate, provide recommendations for approval.
  • You will manage & validate punch list items, substantial completion, and final completion process.
  • You will collect and track receipt of all closeout documents until completion, including certificates of occupancy, warranty and guarantees, bonds, release of liens, as-builts, maintenance and user manuals.
  • You will assist with city and/or other authority final inspections and occupancy process.
  • You will facilitate negotiation, resolution and close out any outstanding change orders, quality issues or disputes.
  • You will process and track any final invoices, payment applications, retention payments.

You'll need to have:

  • A relevant degree qualification.
  • A construction or project management background and experience in managing Industrial Manufacturing and Technology projects consisting of multiple elements.
  • Knowledge of multiple project delivery methods and contract strategy including alternative project delivery.
  • You will maintain awareness of new and emerging industry practices and be excited to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.

You'll also have:

  • Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Property or infrastructure project management expertise.
  • Commercial and financial acumen.
  • Experience of leading parts of projects within large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of developing and forming relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
