Healthcare employer with offices less than 30 min from Phoenix seek to hire a Nurse Practitioner. Interested candidates, must possess some post-training experience. Experience in cardiology, preferred, but not required. New grads can be considered

Under the supervising physician provide efficient, cost-effective, quality outpatient care in accordance with established rules and regulations defining the nurse practitioner scope of practice. Functions as an extension of the physician in diagnosing and treating patient conditions by performing tasks or a combination of tasks traditionally performed by the physician.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • Current registration with the Medical Licensing Board of Arizona and current certification by the *National Commission on Certification of Nurse Practitioners.
  • Requires current CPR certification.
  • Requires professional knowledge and application skills for patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Requires ability to educate and counsel patients and families on medications; diseases; treatment plans; procedures; and preventive health care.
  • Candidates need to have a master's degree or greater. Graduate from an accredited School of Nurse Practitioner training program
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise with excellent diagnostic and procedural skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
