JOB SUMMARY:

This is a Government Operations Consultant III position in the General Tax Administration Program, Communications Team. The incumbent is responsible for creating educational messages for taxpayers, tax practitioners, the general public, and Department employees. The incumbent demonstrates effective communications skills, working both independently and as part of a team, to develop and publish tax information deployed using several communications channels.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five years of experience developing or maintaining website content, print-based materials, or audio/video publications. This may include products such as educational materials, newsletters, presentations or video scripts, posters, training manuals, pamphlets, brochures, etc.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Communications, English, or Business may substitute for four years of the required experience.

SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $4,688.20 monthly/$56,258.40 annually.
