Amazon Games is looking for an experienced Game Data Analyst to help bring games to market and develop business opportunities for Amazon.
As a Senior Game Data Business Intelligence Engineer on our team, you will provide insight and drive key business and game initiatives.
You will work closely with product manager, game designers, and leadership to analyze and find solutions to modern gaming challenges.
Key job responsibilities- Partner with Product Managers to understand players and define game and product goals.

About the teamThe Game Analytics BI team is a group of talented and collaborative analysts. Together with Data Engineering and Data Science we support Amazon's entire portfolio of live and upcoming games. Basic Qualifications
5+ years of Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- 7+ years of SQL experience
- Experience building measures and metrics, and developing reporting solutions
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
- Passion for gaming
Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience using Cloud Storage and Computing technologies such as AWS Redshift, S3, Hadoop, etc.
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

The base pay for this position ranges from $117,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202,800/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
