Job Summary and QualificationsThis role will serve as an account management lead to support HealthTrust's non-acute membership, delivering value for specialty pharmacy members, and AdvantageTrust, through contract administration, contract eligibility and loading, and reimbursement analyses. This position will coordinate closely with the AdvantageTrust team, the Specialty pharmacy team, suppliers and wholesalers to ensure our members are receiving value. The role will lead efforts to ensure members in the non-acute space are receiving pricing and contract eligibility as defined by our contracts. The role will also serve by helping raise awareness of any contracting gaps.
What you will do in this role includes:
- Provides leadership in the area of non-acute classes of trade.
- Assimilates information from variety of sources, able to analyze and interpret financial data, make recommendations and execute a course of action for pharmaceutical savings opportunities and contract load issues
- Reviews data and evaluates gaps in eligibility for HealthTrust, Specialty contracts and Advantage Trust members
- Works with the specialty team, suppliers and wholesalers to ensure eligibility recognition and appropriate price loading
- Supports creation of analytics to ensure monitoring of eligibility
- Supports onboarding of new members for Specialty program
- Provide account management services to the largest AdvantageTrust members
- Monitors/tracks financial impact of improved contract eligibility.
- Collaborates with the account team and their largest members to track and analyze financial data which may include but not limited to pharmacy services supply expense
- Provides support to the audit team as needed and when related to job duties
- Utilizes software skills with data warehouse and/or Microstrategy
- Directs multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment that includes:
- Develops project plans for major and complex projects
- Develops milestones for projects to determine outcomes are achieved that includes facilitating customer teams that lead to building consensus and contract implementation
- Assigns goals to direct reports as appropriate and monitors goal achievement
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of three years equivalent experience
- Previous experience in pharmacy, supply chain, value analysis, purchased services and/or sourcing that includes pharmacy service line knowledge and experience required
