Job Overview

The Senior Program Manager role will report directly into the leader of the SFO Strategic Programs function, which sits within the broader Service & Fulfillment Operations (SFO) organization. The SFO organization is accountable for, post-sale, delivery of customer value through people & process capabilities.

This role will be responsible for partneing with leaders across SFO and the enterprise of AvidXchange with duties spread across the "Bank Channel" program and other strategic programs as assigned. These duties include managing of new strategic program demand driven by and/or impacting the SFO organization, resource & capacity management required to delivery program requirements, defining and running program management routines required to execute program deliverables, and manage program health status and reporting of SFO programs & projects they are responsible for supporting. This role requires daily leadership and influence of partners across operations, sales, product, and technology, as well procurement, risk & compliance, communications, and vendor management. This role will also directly interact with large and complex external Bank Partner relationships.

This individual should have a strong foundation of experience in Program & Project management, demonstrating effective planning, execution and delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives, with experience in both Portfolio Management & the design of operating models to enable effective management of risk, change, stakeholders. The candidate must possess proven interpersonal skills to influence partners and key stakeholders to deliver their program accountabilities.

The outcomes of this function are to ensure new initiatives impacting or driven by SFO are effectively prioritized & strategically placed, resources required for program execution and delivery are appropriately engaged, targeted objectives and outcomes of the program are delivered on time and on quality, and stakeholder expectations across AvidXchange and external Bank Partners are effectively managed.

What You Will Do:

· Applying program management standards, effectively manage the delivery of strategic programs and maintain appropriate program performance against defined KPI's.

· Establishment of and leading management routines to effectively operate the program including required program health status reporting.

· Ongoing management of the engagement of resources required to deliver and maintain the program.

· Ongoing assessment of continuous improvement opportunities to mature the program.

· Promote program target state in a clear and cohesive strategic vision.

· Leadership in managing the planning, execution, and delivery of change managed under the program.

· Ensure program roles & responsibilities are clearing defined and appropriate resources are engaged and performing their accountabilities.

· Develop collaborative working relationships across the organization through excellent communication skills and quality work product delivery.

· Identify and champion workable new concepts and ideas that positively impact the business.

What We Are Looking For:

· 7+ years of relevant experience of progressive growth in project and program management

· 5+ years of leadership / supervisory experience

· Demonstrated ability to drive large-scale change management within a complex, high-growth matrixed organization

· Experience with senior executives and ability to create and deliver executive level summary reports / presentations; ability to simplify complexity through story-telling

· Skillfully resolve conflict, persuade and negotiate with internal and external parties

· Demonstrate strong performance management and people development skills, including motivating, coaching, mentoring and empowering

· Skill in focusing on desired results, determining what is important/urgent, clarifying next steps, and delegating effectively to meet deadlines and achieve desired results

· Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a high-level of transparency into key decisions and issues

· Experience and expertise with MS Office (word, excel), Visio, PowerPoint and product & project management tools (i.e. MS Project, Aha, CA PPM / CA Clarity, etc.)

Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

· Experience in FinTech, B2B, Payments preferred

· PMI/PMP certification preferred

· Experience in Portfolio Management preferred

· Exposure to lean six sigma & ability to design optimal processes & operational procedures preferred

· Demonstrates strategic thinking; actively models critical thinking & thought leadership
