Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a Bariatric Coordinator RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to work with patients throughout the process of achieving their weight-loss goals during the pre and post operational weight–loss surgeries. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.
In this role you will:
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of the nursing process.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Job Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Required, Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required
- BLS-American Heart Association BLS Provider issued card required
- CBM Certified Bariatric Nurse preferred
- 3+ years Acute Care experience preferred
- 2 years of Acute Care experience required
- CBM Certification required within 2 years from date of hire.
