Job Description
The Associate General Counsel will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Provide legal support for the Company's mortgage warehouse and repurchase facilities and its secured and unsecured credit facilities, and the Company's treasury function generally;Provide legal advice and consultation focused on a variety of legal issues relating to the commercial real estate and multifamily industry, including bridge and mezzanine financing, and multifamily loan servicing;Work on CRE commercial loan obligation securitizations (and similar vehicles);Provide guidance and advice to various business units within the Company;Manage internal business relationships; andGeneral corporate compliance and legal assistance, including but not limited to drafting and review of contracts, including those related to the Company's joint venturesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
