To help us drive excellence, you'll get to:
Verify incoming and in process material meets the customer requirements.
Completing inspection related documents.
Understands how to use measurement tools and equipment.
Inspects parts for quality defects. Measures part to ensure they meet specifications
Perform in-process inspections per inspection worksheet, gage instructions and other customer requirements.
Collect SPC data as required.
Perform GR & R Studies
Interpret customer drawings (GD&T).
Verify quality of sort and rework operations. (Set-up sorts, gather information from sorts).
Active Team participant in problem-solving activities.
Support of Non-Conforming System Proficiency .
LMI usage and mastering.
Ability to use computers in area of quality alerts, setting up sorts and gather information from sorts.
Ability to take calls from customers and set-up sorts, document communication and notify proper personnel.
Support IATF-16949 and ISO 14001 standards and procedures.
Champions IATF 16949 conformance in department.
This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Quality team and reports to the Quality Supervisor.
