Primary Responsibility:

Americold is a global provider of temperature-controlled infrastructure. We partner with farmers and food producers to ensure their perishable and frozen product reaches food suppliers, restaurants, and your local grocery store without spoilage. Our customers, which include some of the most respected brands in the food industry, rely on our expertise and commitment to safety in order to delivery on their commitments.

What You'll Do:

Deliver company-wide internal communications and engagement activities that positively impact engagement scores and company results, ensuring that all efforts are aligned with the company's culture, brand, and business goals.

Write internal, employee communications for consistent voice and messaging in keeping with brand and business needs. Create and produce communications materials for internal audiences including poster, flyers, web content and presentation materials Distribute communication materials and information via email, SharePoint sites and website Support various communications and community relations projects to engage employees
3-4 month timeline with potential for full-time hire at end of externship

What Experience and Education You Need:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field of study Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact comfortably at all levels of the organization including with senior level leaders Excellent technical skills including a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Demonstrated leadership in work and/or academics
