About the Position: Serves as a Budget Analyst in the G8 Budget Division for the HQ, Installation Management Command. Performs a variety of administrative and analytical duties in the formulation, presentation, and execution of the budget for the programs assigned.



Duties
  • Identifying and analyzing cost-benefit relationships between the administrative programs (dollars and work years required) to develop multi-year budget plans and forecasts.
  • Understanding of the headquarters mission, functions, programs, and objectives in order to review, analyze, adjust and approve budgetary requirements for allocations.
  • Developing and carrying out written and oral strategies for presenting the budget, including quarterly management briefings and recommendations for any mid-year reprogramming and adjustments.
  • Responsible for translating organizational needs and objectives into budget dollars and required funding actions.
