Job Summary

Duke School offers a top-notch preschool-eight learning experience using a project-based approach. Early Childhood at a Glance:
  • Preschool (mixed age 3&4s) has four classrooms
  • Kindergarten consists of three cohorts
  • Two highly qualified teachers collaborate with 16-17 students in each class

We are looking for an outstanding early childhood/early elementary teacher with a solid grasp of best teaching practices and child development. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in early childhood and/or elementary education, with a minimum of three years of teaching experience. Dedication to the academic and social/emotional progress of students is a must. The ability to work closely with a teaching partner is crucial for this role.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Early Elementary Education
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a lead teacher in this field
