Job Summary and Qualifications

The Payer Analysis Manager position works closely with the Payer Analysis Director to provide financial analysis and operational support for Dispute Resolution functions. Manages the Dispute Resolution operations team and assists with developing and maintaining reporting solutions necessary to support the Dispute Resolution process and Parallon operations, including the development of tools to effectively measure performance.

What you will do in this role:

  • Work directly with the operations side of the Dispute Resolution Team to ensure dispute reviews are being completed timely and correctly.
  • Assign and perform account reviews on specific disputes to ensure the appropriate inventory is being reported by the SSCs and PSU.
  • Provide training to new team members and perform QA on existing team members.
  • Compile and send supporting dispute information to litigation attorneys.
  • Ensure the current statuses of DRT disputes are updated timely and correctly.
  • Manage the denial escalation process (i.e. ensure the current statuses of denial escalation accounts are updated timely and correctly, ensure the technical reviews and expected reimbursement calculations are being completed timely and correctly, etc.).
What qualifications you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3-7 years accounting/auditing/healthcare management experience
  • Experience in public accounting and/or healthcare provider financial operations preferred
  • Previous SSC experience preferred
