Physician - Endocrinology - Wyoming, MN - Located conveniently 30 minutes Northeast of Minneapolis, MN.

University of Minnesota Physicians is looking for an Endocrinologist to provide clinical services to support the expansion of our Endocrinology services across the continuum of complexities. We are in search of an individual who can deliver high-level patient-centered care aligning with the goals and objectives of the M Health Fairview organization to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Practice Highlights:

  • Collaborate with the Endocrinology service line medical director and other leaders to oversee and organize the Endocrinology care program within the clinic, ensuring best practice clinical standards.
  • Join a network of 16 academic and two community Endocrinologists, along with 7 advanced practice providers in community clinics.
  • Full-time position (1.0 FTE) providing patient care in an outpatient clinical setting.
  • Located in the specialty center in Wyoming, MN, working at Fairview Lakes Medical Center alongside other specialists.
  • Offer a full spectrum of care including diagnosis and management of various disorders.
  • Oncall responsibility is 1:3 with minimal phone call duties.
  • Opportunity to collaborate within the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism at the University of Minnesota.
  • Consult with patients, order tests, prescribe medications, facilitate referrals, and attend leadership meetings as necessary.
  • Additional opportunities for research and teaching may be available.

Qualifications:

  • Graduated from an ACGME Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship training program.
  • Board certified with the ABIM in internal medicine and board eligible/certified in endocrinology.
  • Licensed or ability to acquire necessary medical licenses and DEA in the State of Minnesota.
  • Ability to work in the United States and meet VISA requirements.
