CSS Training and Development Analyst

  • Develop and update training materials to support the education and training of CSS Colleagues.
  • Work with other areas to support on-going change initiatives and process improvement including roll-outs of updated workflows, processes and system implementations.
  • Facilitate and lead key training activities, as well as assist in all aspects of training implementation including determination of best delivery model, involvement of key stakeholders culminating in creation and delivery of training to CSS team members.

What you need to have:

  • At least 5 years of experience leading learning, development and education initiatives ( we could move this to the Exceptional Category)
  • Solid understanding of insurance industry concepts
  • 4 Year College Degree (B.S. or B.A), or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a high performance team.
  • Attention to detail in completing assigned tasks
  • Positive attitude, willingness to offer and execute ideas and solutions to enhance processes within a changing environment
  • Successful management of workload; able to manage expectations of all Clients and Stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, delivering clear and concise messages and at all times promoting and enhancing the Guy Carpenter brand
  • Able to challenge appropriately, supporting business cases with facts and information
  • Ability to make sound judgements independently while knowing when to bring situations to the attention of Management

What makes you stand out:

  • 5+ years of experience leading learning, development and education initiatives
  • Solid knowledge of learning styles and the ability to prepare and deliver training across multiple modalities.
  • In depth knowledge of property & casualty insurance industry, especially reinsurance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Organizational Management, Business, Education
  • Training in Instructional Design or a background in Project Management, Change Management or Operations.
  • Experience designing training materials, writing workflows or standardizing operational procedures.
