What will I be doing?

The Analyst / Clerk of Accounting will perform activities to support the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and General Accounting functions. The Analyst/Clerk will participate in the development and processes of accurate reports and account management. In addition to performance, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

  • Responsible for posting charges, invoicing as required by account type, processing certain accounts such as parking, health club, and contract rooms.
  • Responsible for processing advance deposits, refunds on cancels, posting daily deposits, and other payments including wires and Net Direct payment reports.
  • Responsible for handling all questions and concerns related to charges, conduct thorough research to develop the most effective solution and negotiate results. Listen and extend assistance in order to resolve problems.
  • Process adjusting entries to update or correct guest billing questions and disputes.
  • Assist in resolving outstanding balances with direct bill and collections accounts, gathering the appropriate backup needed.
  • Receive and maintain credit applications. High degree of data input and organizing daily paperwork.
  • Verify and maintain high balance reports.
  • Works with Sales/Events and clients to ensure billing timeliness and accuracy.
  • Assist in implementing Accounts Receivable policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with company polices and standards.
  • Weekly review and documentation of Accounts Receivable Aged Balances.
  • Additional job duties and projects as assigned or requested.

Position will also assist in monthly cash audits, journal entries. Strong interpersonal skills working with multiple departments.
