BASIC PURPOSE: The primary responsibility of the Data Specialist Lead is to effectively manage the data flow and maintenance of all products in SAP Pricebook. This role involves developing direct reports, ensuring the integrity of all product data to support Love's Retail and Supply Chain systems, and optimizing department processes. Additionally, the Data Specialist Lead is tasked with building strong relationships with IT partners and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead Data Management Specialists by coaching, training, and managing staff to ensure high performance and adherence to standards.
• Manage SAP Pricebook, overseeing the database and its relationship with inventory and replenishment systems, store back office, and point of sale.
• Serve as the Product Owner of SAP Pricebook, collaborating with IT partners in proposing system enhancements, participating in testing enhancements, and contributing to bug fixes.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all retail products by leading efforts to maintain accurate and up-to-date item setup and information across all systems, ensuring consistency and reliability.
• Optimize existing processes by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain data flow to support automated systems and processes, ensuring seamless data flow to Supply Chain systems and other supporting systems.
• Engage in system integration projects as they pertain to the Supply Chain department, providing insights and expertise.
• Collaborate with other cross-functional leaders for continued improvement, working closely with teams across different departments to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.

Experience:
• In-depth, hands-on knowledge of Retail Merchandising systems.
• SAP Pricebook experience preferred.
• Experience analyzing data using excel and various report formats preferred.
• Experience managing people a plus.
