The Senior Software Engineer will work with engineering leadership, clients, and product team to ensure deliverable commitments are met. They will also serve as a primarytechnical resource with responsibility for the implementation, support, optimization and / or upgrade of CPS and Therigy solutions.
Responsibilities:
In conjunction with our consulting team and CPS IT leadership, works to develop software solutions to meet client needs including problem definition, process requirements, proposed solutions, and ultimate solution development. Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Prepares, tests, and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Improves operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures, and identifying enhancements. Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues. Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.Other related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:
Experience in health care, pharmaceuticals, or managed careBachelor's degree in a Computer Science related field or in lieu of 5+ years ofrelated experience and education4 years of related experienceExperience with Javascript, NodeJS and the React libraryFamiliarity with using opensource development utilities and frameworksAble to work in a MacOS based development environmentExperience with Relational databases (MySQL preferred)Experience with designing user interfacesExperience Writing unit and end-to-end testsAble to communicate effectively both written and verballyBuilding and consuming REST APIsBuilding and consuming GraphQL APIsBasic experience using AWSAgile development methodologiesExperience working in a containerized docker environmentBenefits : All employees enjoy a competitive salary, eligibility to participate in the 401(k) savings plan with a match.
