The Pharmacy Technician III will assist the pharmacist and technician staff in daily operations in central pharmacy or pharmacy satellite areas, as assigned, which includes, but is not limited to formulation, preparation, dispensing, storage, ordering, and restocking medications and pharmaceutical products/preparations. Additionally, performs activities related to hazardous medication compounding.
Location:
Inpatient Pharmacy, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, 4940 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, MD.
Hours:
20 Hours per week
Rotating shift, weekends.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician program is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-6 months of work experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred.
- Registered in the State of Maryland as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam required.
