Job DescriptionThe Arcade Attendant ensures a safe, fun-filled, and exciting environment for our Arcade guests. Provides information and change for Arcade guests, promotes the rules and regulations and oversees the entertainment area.

- Proper cash handling procedures to include Micros transactions, balancing daily receipts, balance bank, complete all closing reports and deposits.
- Greet all guests and assist them with the purchase of play cards and explaining how the arcade functions.
- Maintain a clean facility and work area.
- Possess strong hospitality skills while in direct contact with the guests, other staff members and on the phone.
- Restock redemption items and tickets in the games.
- Properly assist guests in a prompt and hospitable manner.
- Document needed game repairs and communicates with the Engineering Department and immediate supervisor when games are not working properly.
- Attend required meetings.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
- Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
- Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
- Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
- Conducts him\herself (acts and dresses) professionally at all times.
- Understands and communicates the Driftwood Mission.
- Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
- Actively listens to others.
- Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.
- Works to resolve disagreements and is respectful of peers and co-workers.
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
- Must have a basic knowledge applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
- Must have good mathematical and computer skills.
- High school education and relevant training and experience preferred.
- Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates.
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
- Must have basic computer skills and be able to comprehend our systems after trained.
- Minimum lifting of 20 pounds.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
- Hearing, writing, typing.
- Minimum pulling of 20 pounds.
- Standing for long periods of time.
