You will work closely with individuals, families, and organizations to navigate complex immigration laws and procedures, aiming to secure favorable outcomes for your clients.

Job Duties:

  • Meet with potential new clients for consultations.
  • Coordinate case strategy and manage cases.
  • Legal research and analysis
  • Court representation.
  • Prepping clients for their upcoming hearings.
  • Manage various project deadlines and prepare and revise documents.
  • Regularly and effectively communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural, case processing issues, and case strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of immigration law and regulations
  • Experience preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications
  • Experience creating legal documents and conducting legal research
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and government agencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software
  • Fluency in Spanish.
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-orientation, alongside the ability to effectively multi-task.
  • Ability to independently work on daily tasks, proactively and with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to always contribute to a work environment positively.
  • Demonstrated experience in immigration law, particularly removal proceedings, either through prior work experience or relevant coursework.
