Our client north of Boston is looking to add a Manufacturing Estimator to their growing team This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have experience with estimating and manufacturing in a machining environment. responsibilities:
Compute production expenses by utilizing established labor rates, material costs, and estimates for processing prices.
Oversee cost estimation efforts for our client, collaborating closely with clients in the Aerospace, Defense, and Oil & Gas sectors.
Collaborate with the supply chain team to manage the procurement of raw materials and external services, both within an integrated supply chain and with external vendors.
Manage production tasks, including financial closure, variance analysis, and communication with manufacturing to enhance processes.
Generate G-code for CNC lathes and milling machines using proprietary CAM software.
Drive enhancements in both new and existing operations aimed at reducing costs and enhancing quality.
Possess the authority to execute all assigned tasks and activities.
