Design Assistant tasks include but are not limited to:
Shipment Sample approvals
Photoshoot Sample Management
Airtable admin
General rack/ sampling organisation pre and post fittings
Supplier boards
Fit Boards
Assisting design team in receiving in packages and checking samples into Airtable - in real time to include sample status and all key dates
Assisting the garment tech and designers in adding in any relevant fit measurements into the spec before fits
Assisting in entering in collections including all styles into airtable along with colours, categories
Ensuring after fit sessions all photos are in appropriate dropbox folder
Online style details
Assisting design/garment tech in tech packs, fitting comments and some sketching in busy periods
Ensuring all admin platforms are updated in a timely manner
Shipment samples are to be measured and approved each week. Any updates are communicated to the correct design member and a solution is made on rejected samples.
Receiving in fit samples and logging all styles in Airtable, ensuring all samples are ready for the fit session.
Assisting in the creation of supplier, fit and design boards
Assisting in sending fit boards for approval by the head of design and creative director
Assisting the garment tech in adding in fit measurements into the spec before fits
Maintain fitting and design rack and login archive boxes
Entering in all new styles into Airtable, along with all necessary field requirements
Uploading all fit photos onto Dropbox after fit session is complete, ensuring that all designers have access to these files
Online style details are completed for each range and handed over to the online team
Assisting design/tech on tech packs and comments in busy periods. Along with basic sketches, creating style names and secondary colours.
